I do not fear tomorrow
The Lord is by my side
In Him I find redemption
In Him I will abide
The future is a veil
Yet I can plainly see
My hopes, my dreams, my everything
Are Christ alive in me.

The world tries to surround me
With darkness, fear, and cold
And yet the Lord is with me
His presence warms my soul
Each morning, ev'ry evening
In trial and victory
There is a plan; I understand
It's Christ alive in me.

This world is not the glory
Eternity's the goal
And in the Lord's provision
There's peace within my soul
With joy displacing sorrow
I'm all I'm meant to be
Not by a thing that I have done
